So the docter said i have a case of patella tendonitis and my knee hurts everytime after i run for up to 2 days. The doctor said i could train. but my healthy sense of mind says now is the time to stop training.
How long should i initially take to rest this. Is one weeks like achilles tendonitis a good start?I am not planning going back to the doc soon. He did gave me exercises and advice to ice the knee and stretch the quadriceps what i already do.
My plan thus is to rest for one week with swimming and weights no leg extension or squats as crosstraining and then adding 20 minutes of running for a month or two months with icing after each run as well as stretching 20 minutes (instead of running 60 minutes).
How does this plan sound?
