Suggestions for a neutral trainer

Hey all so I'm a 5'4 female runner 109lbs...I've been training in the Mizuno wave rider for a few seasons but about 5 moths ago wound up over training and had to deal with a few injuries that sidelined me. It probably wasn't the shoe itself but I'm itching to start back up again with a better pair.

So, I supinate A LOT and it seemed the wave rider was doing the job but my podiatrist suggested I find a shoe similar to it with a different heel structure.

Does anyone have any suggestions, I know I could go to a specialty store but there are so many deals online that are too good to pass up. Any advice is much appreciated. THANKS!

Hey I am a male, but seem to have similar body type and foot strike as you. I am about 5'8, 130. I also supinate. I loved to wave riders as well, but after a few pairs I tried a few new companies. Of the ones I tried my favorites were the Wave Riders, Brooks Glycerin, and Nike Vomero. I would say the Vomero's are my all time favorite

my advice: go to your local running store. you'll be able to try on a bunch of shoes at once and get some sound advice as well. it's worth the extra $$ you will spend to be able to try on the shoes before you buy them.

Mid-weight: Brooks Ghost or Defyance

Lightweight & Quick: Mizuon Precision

people who supinate a lot should not be running in the mizuno precision. it has even less cushioning than the wave rider. would suggest asics nimbus, nike vomero, brooks glycerin.
