Letsrun was created for a reason. I assume I'm not the only person on here who is actually interested in training philosophies and not just bashing triathletes and asking about Adam Goucher being update. Yes, one should listen to his/her coach when the coach knows what's right. No one is dropping a knowledge-bomb by suggesting it anymore. What "you" are too annoying to consider is that:
A) Not everyone has a coach who know what is right or who even has a training philosophy.
B) Not everyone has a coach.
C) Coaches are not infallible and can improve from the knowledge of others. Inquisitive athletes are a good way to go about enacting that change.
