This is an ethical question that has troubled me for years. You're eating pizza with friends and/or family and when you open the box to grab another slice, you find that the pieces on the edges don't look so hot (maybe they have those big bubbles that pizza sometimes gets or maybe the toppings don't go all the way to the crust), but there is a great looking slice somewhere in the interior of the pizza.
It seems customary and somewhat natural to take the piece from the edge, but is it okay to grab the better slice? Is that like jumping in line and skipping up the slice that is rightfully yours to take someone else's better piece, or is it a first come first serve kind of thing and since you got there first you get to take whatever piece you want?
