Need a little help with a shin injury. 16 year old male - runs cross country and track. 1200-1300 miles annually. Had minor shin splints in the past. This feels different. Left shin started tingling then hurting beside the shin bone after a run 2 wks ago. Grew progressively worse. Took a week off. Test run today and the left shin felt OK after but the right now shows same symptoms. Not sore to the tough even with pressure. Thoughts?
