My life went somewhere many years ago. I'm pretty pleased with where it went, and am fairly certain meaning and purpose exist where my life went. Nothing arbitrary about my meaning and purpose. I highly recommend pursuing an unarbitrary meaning and purpose filled life.

this thread seems really morose so far.
I'm still young, so I've got time to bump into my "purpose" somewhere down the road. Until then, though, I'm 10,000% content to keep doing whatever it is I do as long as I get to wake up next to and fall asleep next to my fantastic significant other. Even if my only higher purpose is to make her life a happy one, I'll consider myself incredibly lucky.
But running under 2:30 certainly wouldn't hurt.

And then it only gets worse. We had a physician in town that was randomly asking his patients if they knew someone that could uh......permanently take care of his wife if you know what I mean.
99% of people are just splashing around in the pool..very very very few people are doing anything that actually "goes some where" or moves human thought and understanding forward. In the long run theres not much difference bewtween the existence of a bank president or a bum... in 100 yr nobody will know or care tht either existed.
