My long runs are supposed to be 8 miles. The last 2 long runs I've gone on I make it to about 6 1/2 mi no problem, but my feet/ankles start to get tingly. They get progressively more like they've fallen asleep til they're completely numb, and I usually just stop around 7 1/2 mi because it weirds me the hell out.
The trails I usually run on are still snowy/covered in shit so could this just be the cause of too much pavement or should I shorten my long runs a bit?
