heard it long ago. your knot the furst.
Rupp is the Ruppy. He is knot Rupperific.
Rupp will have the last laugh on every LR ahole when all is said and done.
Steady, substantial incremental improvement, a nice guy, and guts beyond every one of his detractors on this shite site.
I doubt that Rupp would waste his time reading the mostly garbage on this Message Board.
There used to be a lot of good running related topics on the Message Board, now most of the entries are total garbage.
In any case, I think Rupp will have a good outdoor season. He should dip into the 12:50's and if he gets in the right race run in the 26:50's as well.
12:54? Probably not. 26:54? More likely.
Sweet, he'll only be 1 second behind a 17-year-old Kenyan indoors.

Would you rather he be some 13:30 guy who retires at 25?
Rupp may never be the worlds best or win a medal, but he's clearly giving it everything he has, and doing things very few Americans have ever done. We should applaud the improvement, hard work, and dedication that Rupp puts forth. If he never comes close to breaking a wr or winning a gold medal it won't be for lack of trying.
Some Kenyan going 12:53 indoors has no bearing on Rupp. He will do the best he can regardless of what anyone else is doing. But there will always be people like you who get a thrill out of putting down anyone's dreams and hopes, instead of being happy when someone improves.

For f***'s sake, that dude is not 17! No one over there actually knows they're age unless they come from money like the Bekeles.
Rupp is Peter Pan. He will be 17 forever.

I don't care if he's 17 or 30, doesn't change what i wrote. Even if he is only 17, doesn't mean much since many Kenyans who are listed as being jrs never run much faster.

If you're implying Rupp EVER outkicks Solinsky, you're insane.
Galen Rupp is slowly improving over extended periods of time and even though he is getting outkicked now, he doesn't seem to get injured often and has been steadily increasing mileage. I think he'll be better than everyone once it's all said and done
Rupp has out kicked solinsky once or twice.

Rupp has outkicked Solinsky right off the 3000m World Championship team. Maybe you should get of Fail-insky's jock, Fail-insky has never and probably will never outkick Wheating, Heath, Ulrey, etc. like Rupp has.
didnt he outkick him in a 5k in Oregon from 40m back on the last straightaway of that race as well? Someone help me out here.
Its possible. The rivalry between the two is only going to help both of them. Awesome.
