I thought it would be interesting to see your insights on the half marathon training the kenyans are doing after Mary Keitany ran a WR.
I know in the recent thread on her WR you did say that you were her advisor not coach but thought it would be great if you could give some insight as you mentioned that her coach follows your principles.
I have seen you mention before that you beleive that the common training that kenyans do before they have official coaches is better for the half marathon than any other event.
I have seen you mention 20-40min fast runs (or 5 to 12-15km very fast). What speed are these usually done at? Is it at around half marathon race pace, marathon race pace or somewhere in between?
What Principles of training do usually stick to when developing half marathoners?
