Ok so last summer I ran a lot to improve which I never did over the summer before. By the end of the summer I got to 70 mpw. I kept running the same times all year for cross country and the same thing is now happening for track. What could be wrong? I am definitely not burnt out because I am practicing great and it's just not translating to my races. I asked the opinion of the best kid on my team and he said he thinks I'm afraid of the pain and not running as hard as I could be. Any other opinions? (I'm a miler)
