I've been thinking lately about buying some quality headphones. I really don't know much about good brands or anything like that, other than that I've tried my friend's Bose headphones and definitely like those a lot. I'd like to not spend a ton of money but if they're really good quality and will last a very long time I would consider spending maybe ~200. Anyone have any suggestions/recommendations?
Sennheiser?
I used to have a senheiser hd phone and it's quality was much better then all other phones i have ever used the bass was really deep like with a subwoofer.

The Sennheiser HD- series (whatever is the current top level -- like HD-580 II last time I checked)
Get those and then get HeadRoom headphone amplifiers and you will not believe the sound. If you've got the money, it is amazing.
Alternately the Sennheiser high-end noise-reduction headphones are fantastic too.
ive heard the grado80i or alessandro ms1 are a good bang for your buck
I use Westone 1's. They have great sound and hit a good mid price point for runners (about $100 depending where you look). Spending more for something you are going to sweat in and beat up is crazy. The buds sit in your ear and the wires wrap over the ear and around your head which works great for running. PLus, they come with like 10 different options for ear seals.
