A few years ago I created a new running challenge: The Royal Run-Bowl. Also known as the Battle of Bowl-Run, it combines the sports of athletes at opposite ends of the physical fitness spectrum.
How it works:
Run 2 miles (3200m is acceptable).
Convert your time to seconds (for example, a 10:00 = 600).
Immediately go bowling.
Complete 3 games and total the scores.
Subtract your bowing score from your running score. Low score wins.
Initially, it was thought that a perfect score would be around zero and would take a 10:00 run and three games of 200.
How close can you get to the perfect score? I pulled a -7 by bowling first and running second (capitalizing on a very good bowling night).
What could you do?
