Okay so Im sick of devoting so much of myself to running and being so shit....Ive decided to give up...........well not give up per say but Im sick of running 60-70 miles a week while holding down a stressful full time job and studying and still being distinctly average.
So heres my new plan...fvck highk mileage...5 days running a week...30-40 min sessions with one longer session on the weekend:
Monday- 1 mile warm up, 10x400 with 1 min rest, 1 mile warm down
Tuesday-off
Wednesday- 1 mile warm up, 20 min tempo, 1 mile down
Thursday-6 miles easy
Friday-Off
Saturday- 1 mile warm up, 5x200m with full recovery, 1 mile down
Sunday-10 miles, starting easy and finishing at a good pace
So about 25 miles a week, thats it...sick of everything revolving around running.
How do people think I will do with this plan?
