    Okay, I've noticed some threads on Letsrun disappear occasionally and then come back. Not because they're deleted, I think there must be either a bug in database code or the presentation code.

    For instance, the last post on this thread:

    http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=3814281

    was at 9:17 AM. However, it is nowhere to be found on the list of threads. At the bottom of page 1, the last thread has a time of 9:50 AM, and on the next page, the top post starts at 9:08 AM. So what became of the threads in between?

    I'm not sure how long that thread will remain hidden -- it will probably become visible again soon. Has anyone else noticed this?

    And now the post is back! WTH...

    I think it has to do with whatever threads are near the bottom of the page. So currently the last thread on page one has a time of 10:40, and the top one on page two has a time of 10:19. I think there's posts in between these times that are disappearing.

    In your code, are you sure the number of posts per page to be displayed is matching up with the start post to display on top of a page?

    Yes, I have noted that on occasion. It looks like a thread has been deleted, but if you do a search for it, it will come up during a period of time that is missing between pages. I believe it has something to do with a time warp.
