I am running a half marathon next sunday and wondering what kind of workouts you guys do leading up to it. I am hoping to run a 1:26 or 1:27 and have been mainly doing long 15km runs at 4:00/km pace once or twice a week, with a total weekly distance of about 60-70 km a week.
This is my first half marathon where I am going to try and go out real strong (and my first half in a while - I had been training for shorter ekidens for the previous 3 months).
Just wondering if you guys have any ideas of good workouts leading up to race day.
