Just got back from a workout at the track. Consisted of about 2 miles of volume but quite high intensity. Finished the tail end of the workout super strong, but noticed by fingernails turned blue right before the last rep. Circulation wasn't a problem but I did have a bit of a headache like I have been getting at the end of workouts that are high intensity.
I have a huge base coming off XC and am not the fastest guy to begin with so high intensity stuff is not my strength. I also just started with a track club and haven't done any real speed stuff on the track in about 5 years.
Anyone else experience this before?
