So which one of you letsrun mac daddies is going to lift your body weight 30 times, and then run sub 15? The competition is only a couple weeks away and there has to be someone out there who can easily do this.

Well i'm not able to do 30 reps yet but i have been conistantely getting 28 up and feel like i'll get 30 up soon enough. My best 5k time was last week at kent state where i won and ran a 14:30
I'm ready to run 2.7, bounce the bar off my chest with my butt off the bench and lighten my wallet by $65. And for the chance to win a year subscription to a free publication.
Dude ill beat the f***in shit outta you

gonnabethere: beat that! BEAT! THAT!
you can't though, that bro just called your bluff... sorry bro
Lets make it interesting poser.
I am coming in on Thursday, lets meet/greet and find a impartial observer...how about Matt Mcgowan (the RD)
I got $500.00 says I take you by 30 seconds.
Meaning you'll beat his ass in 30 seconds or less, with Matt Mcgowan watching? I'm calling BS
Then jump in...call me on my BS and I will take your $500 also.
Yep...thats what I thought, you won't commit and come back with a stream of BS on LR.
yo, so how does this "pump and then run" thing work? i'm assuming that you bench your body weight for max number of reps, then run a 5k. what then? do your reps equate to some numerical value to deduct from your run time, and then a winner is declared?
dude you better watch your f***in mouth or i'll bash your brains in you f***in piece of shit.
So are you saying that you are going to physically beat his ass IN 30 seconds with Matt Mcgowan watching?
So you are mixing this up into a bare knuckle throwdown? Don't have the $ to lose in the race?
I will be at Rigsby's on Friday night (the 4th). I will be wearing a P&R t-shirt from last year.
If you want to bring the $ for Mcgowan to hold then we can go that way, if not I will buy you beer then we can head outside.
I will then get a few pics and your true ID and post them on LR.
Yes your run is deducted by 30 sec for each rep you do of bodyweight to a 30 rep max.
So if you run a 19min 5k and bench 20 times, you deduct 10min from your 5k time for a final result of 9 mins.
So the big shots here say they can bench 30times so a deduction of 15mins and a sub 15min 5k would give them a negative end result.
I think 1:09 or 1:10 net is the record.
Sub 16 for 2.7 and 30 reps wins it.
Yulp, you are absolutely right. I measured this course with my NASA approved GPS watch (whicn is used by astronauts and brain surgeons to calculate the exact distance they need it to) and i also drove the distance with my car and used a distance wheel to verify that it is actually a 1.97625 mile race. I also tested the barbell and the weights used with my NASA approved scale. Here are the results of the weight testing:
The Barbell weighs: 10lbs
The standard 45lb weight weighs: 15lbs
Also, the 1.97625 mile race is all down hill and straight.
You guys are all f******, go f*** yourself
Yeah get em big guy.
i'll measure it this year with my Garmin for the race and cool down. I'm going to guess it is like 3.05, but we'll know for sure in a couple weeks
2.9 one year.
Most of the other years were a little more accurate.
I plan on measuring it myself. As far as being a fast course, this will be my third year and my times aren't faster on this course.
Here's the deal, the winner is the winner regardless of race distance you bunch of bitches
