I was slammin' a couple Big Flats back last night with some bros and we got to talking about whether the Walgreen's beer Big Flats is just a typically great beer, or if it can now be heralded as the greatest beer of all time.

Ummmmm, ever heard of Natty Light?
GREATEST BEER OF ALL TIME!!! All other beers hail in comparison to the quality of Big Flats. For such a new beer it is catching on quickly. And for 2.99 for a 6 pack its the best deal in town.
its good but not the best
Natty is great and I haven't had Big Flats yet (although I'm excited to try it) but the worst beer I've ever had is Mountain Crest. That beer isn't even comically bad, it just makes you angry when you taste it.
Oh come on yall - Big Flats always goes down smooth. To be honest, sometimes I think it's TOO smooth. Just simply too good of a beer. That pure water they use, along with all those hops, barley, etc. Man alive, they do it right.
Smooth is an under statement. It goes down like water from the first sip on. If there is a better beer out there I would like to hear it. If you say some micro brew that I have never heard of and costs $12 for a 6 pack i'll call you crazy. You obviously have never tried Big Flats!
Its cheap and tastes like Coors light. Thats all. Far from the best and yes, I can name 50 beers that are $12 a 4 pack and higher that are better than that beer.
Name them! I dare you! I double dog dare you
Ya, have you tried White Trash Ale? Sounds right up your alley.
I would say it goes like this
big flats > pbr = high life > natty boh > hamms
Hahaha, I love this thread. Just picked up a sixer of Big Flats from Walgreens tonight after doing a double-take at the "$2.99 for a 6-pack sign." It's not half bad, certainly a lot better than the worst mainstream beer I've tasted (Foster's). Not in the class of PBR or the Silver Bullett, but better than Bud Light or High Life. For 2.99 you really can't go wrong.
is this for sale anywhere in mass? or new england?
keystone light. nothing better than a 30 rack of stones. that's the smooth shit.
Just wanted to say that I washed down dinner with a 6-pack of Big Flats last night and then had another one to kick start my morning before heading to work just now.
Love live Big Flats!
I hear they are lowering the drinking age, but only for Big Flats to 14. That way even high schoolers can enjoy the great tasting ever so hoppy fine brew.[quote]Sushi Para wrote:

This would be great news, since I already give my 11 year old a couple Big Flats every night. Knocks him right out.

You should download the Big Flat App for your phone. Get it at walgreens.com.
Well, not really. I can't back that up.
room temp - the only way to drink BIG FLATS.
