I spent >2 hours in line at Build-A-Bear over the weekend picking out the perfect stuffed animal for her. I chose a soft bear with honey-colored fur and intelligent eyes, just like my sweetheart. I recorded the words "I love you" in my own voice for the sound box that was placed inside the bear along with a silk heart. I even picked out a plastic rose for the bear to hold.
I can't believe how unappreciative she is of my gift.
I hate this holiday.

At least she didn't break up with you. Last year, my ex decided to break up with me while we were hanging out at her place after dinner. She also said she'd been thinking about breaking up with me for a few months. Wonderful timing.
