Hello board,
You all have done me well in the past with my questions and I have another one.
My friends have signed me up for a 30 and over basketball league that will be one day a week and I'd like to not get embarassed in it so I might need to do something basketball related more than just the one day a week.
I was wondering if you guys would just go about your normal running schedule the next 8 weeks and deal with being really sore adding basketball on top (which is what I did this past week) or would you ramp down your mileage a little and make it only easy runs and try to just put your fitness in standby until the league is over? If that is even possible.
I would not even done this league and let it mess with my running but it has kind of been a once in a lifetime thing with some guys I grew up with.

By the way I am 33 and was doing about 50 mpw building towards 80's having been a few weeks into my base training.
