the womens race is shoulder 2 shoulder
From the talk on the local news, sounds like Gotcher dropped.
What was time Ethopian won in?
Gotcher 2:19:30
How did Tolesa go from 2:05:45 pace at 24 miles to a finish time of 2:07:04?

2:16.15 solid debut not what he wanted but still a good run. Those last 3 miles really got to him

Finish in 2:16:17.....looks like 35-40k a bit rough (17:30ish) .....still his first attempt and Im sure a good learning experience.....hes got alot more in him! Dont hang your head Robby!
Course and State record for mens Marathon, Archinga proves he is a force to be reckoned with in the 2011 U.S. Olympic Trials, Gotcher fails to live up to expectations and runs 2:19:30, exciting womens race up to mile 24 and a pretty good time by the women, Ethopia dominates the event again with a 4th straight win in a row for women and 3rd for men. Pretty nice race for Houston.
It will be interesting to get the post-race feedback from the athletes. Although the weather was mild....with nearly 100% humidity (e.g. drizzle), the weather today might have been a little deceiving. (e.g. relatively warmer/hotter than people 'thought', given the overcast skies).
Oh and Watson has a solid debut also showing that he could possibly be something to be considered for 2012 Olympic Trials
Canada has an Olympic Trials?
