How is watching Americans with their excuses and fame for not even making the top 5 in a race and thinking it's amazing to run sub 60 last lap interesting? They are very very good runners but that doesn't mean we should continually look for more talent besides American talent.

Can't comment on LZ, but let the Kenyans stay in Kenya and make their own way in their own country. We don't need them in the USA stealing scholarships from American athletes, and we certainly don't need them becoming naturalized citizens just so they can make an easy run at an Olympic team.

^This. I'm American, but seriously, Kenyans work so much harder and get so much less. Why should their efforts be undermined by some whiny American runners who complain about there injuries and how they were not fit? We need some real tough Americans like Salazar. Don't get me wrong what they dlo is simply amazing but come on...Do you want to sit there listening to Hall talking about God for an hour or seeing some real action and real competition? EAST AFRICANS(not all great african runners are kenyan, try ethiopia and even somolia) have a right to run here. I mean if your a company you want to dish out you money to top prefomers, an who blames the east africans for accepting a shit ton more money in one week then theyve ever had.
Second, the reason why Amerians are so highly touted is bcause we are in THE UNITED STATES. So they are our home team, and when your home team keeps getting slaughtered, its a HUGE deal to see little rays of sunshine(no homo) like Sol, Ritz, Webb etc
