A) He didn't see her.
B) Just because she has cancer doesn't mean she is entitled to anything.
C) Non-Story and people are trying to blow it out of proportion.
D) It's still nothing compared to what Big Ben has done.
There are two videos on the page that you linked and neither show Aaron Rogers snubbing a cancer patient.
The Bears Still Suck!!!
He CLEARLY snubbed her, coldy walked past with his headphones on. What a prick. I hope he gets another concussion and has to end his career. He should realize he gets paid MILLIONS of dollars and that is part of his job, to stop for 15 seconds and sign a hat for a woman that would make her day when she obvious desperately needs something to hold onto.
I wasn't sure who I was going to root for, now I hope the Bears kill them.
You're f***ing stupid. He has headphones in so he probably can't hear her, has no idea who she is compared to any other person that would ask for an autograph, and might not even realize she was trying to talk specifically to him. Get your head out of your ass.
Why would you ever wish a concussion on someone? You've got serious personal issues, dude.

No he gets paid to throw a ball. And I should point out that the QB on the other side of the ball is a probable date-rapist.
If a runner with headphones on can be oblivious enough to get hit by a train, I don't have a hard time believing that a football player with headphones on might be oblivious enough to not notice a person.
I agree also, if he did she her, which it didn't look like he did, how does he know that she had cancer? I see plenty of women with short hair. He probably gets harassed/mobbed every time he leaves a game so he tries not to look at or pay attention to what people are doing around him.Once he sees this story, 50 bucks says he sends her an autograph.

There is no way he saw/heard/noticed her. Do you really think he took the time to look at her and think "hm, she has short hair, I wonder why that is...probably cancer...i better walk faster."NO CHANCE.

Wow, what a non-story, but certain people want to try and find controversy anywhere they can. He clearly didn't see her. Even if he didn't want to sign her hat, do you think he would have knowingly done so in front of cameras like that.
I would hate to be a celebrity. The 100's or 1000's of times they do the right thing does not get mentioned, but as soon as someone makes a mistake (and not even a purposeful mistake) the press and the public will be all over them. By the way, the woman didn't seem too upset and still wants an autograph from him.
Guess you gotta dig really deep to come up with a reason not to cheer for the Pack.

The QB on the "other side of the ball" is a linebacker.

I'm a Bears fan but do have respect for Rodgers as he is a good QB. I've read a lot about the guy as far as how generous he is with his time and money with a lot of charities and he does a lot of behind the scenes stuff. It was sort of a dick move but at the same time after everything I've read and seen about the guy I'm not going to call him a douchebag based on about three seconds of video.
"Just a week earlier, Rodgers autographed Jan's pink jersey bearing the number 12, and a few years ago the now-star quarterback signed a number of things for her."

Here is another article, from the Milwaukee Journal, about the woman's reaction to the supposed snub of Aaron Rodgers.
Green Bay - Over the last day or so, you may have seen on the internet - mostly Twitter - an ongoing discussion about a video that shows quarterback Aaron Rodgers walking past an autograph seeker at Austin Straubel airport Saturday.
The woman, a cancer survivor who is dressed all in pink - the color associated with the breast cancer awareness campaign - told Channel 2 in Green Bay that she had come from cancer treatments straight to the airport to get some autographs.
In the video, she appears to be asking Rodgers, who with his teammates are walking to their gate for a flight to Atlanta, for an autograph. Rodgers with earplugs in, walks by her without stopping. Later, linebacker Clay Matthews stops and talks to her while giving her an autograph.
Rodgers took a lot of heat from people who saw the video and thought he was blowing off a cancer survivor.
On Monday, the woman stepped forward and said she was upset that Rodgers was getting grief because of the video and told Channel 2 that she had just gotten an autograph the week before from Rodgers and he had signed other things for her in the past.
Channel 2 quickly took the video down after the controversy began.
Rodgers has been active in various charity activities, including Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer (the MACC fund) and the Salvation Army.
