I sure didn't hear "T.C.U." on the TV out here in Thailand. It was a great game, but yes, Oregon really screwed the pooch.
Auburn didn't WIN the game. Oregon LOST the game.
Finally Rojo and I agree on something. Yes I think that the Horned Frogs should show up on the 29th and demand a game at the Auburn Stadium to decide the real champion.
You know, UT-Austin and Texas A&M REFUSE to schedule a game against TCU.....BECAUSE THEY MIGHT LOSE!!!!
As for my team, the University Of Nevada - Reno, we won our bowl game, the worthless "Kraft Hunger Bowl" ...our reward for beating Boise State and going 12-1, one touchdown from going undefeated. The whole system STINKS.
Of course the bigger issue is the lack of a playoff. The NCAA should look at it this way: What if they said "We have decided not to have a 64-team March Madness Basketball tournament because it's too much trouble. Now we are going to have a committee and a computer pick the top 2 teams to have a game and declare a champion. Oh yeah, the corporations of America can sponsor exhibition games for all the other teams." I think that people would be protesting en masse at the NCAA offices, right?
