Guess I'll start thinking of NB as Nude Balance.

The ad is fine. Striking, beautiful, not stupid like so many others.
She looks amazing. Congrats to New Balance on such an eyecatching ad.
Maggie's quite smart and genuinely witty. Her interviews, video and print, have shown that. She may be a bit unfiltered, but that's refreshing.

Hot? No.
Striking, beautiful, artful? Yes.
I'm more surprised that a running shoe company is actually using a track athlete that it sponsors in its own ads (as opposed to some random model).
Definitely admiring her hamstrings. I wonder how light those shoes are.
I was admiring her shoes more than her bod. I agree a spreadeagle pose would sell more shoes.

If NB put the photo on each shoebox maybe.
Ahhhhhh.............
I don't know how to tell you this, guys, but the ad is oriented towards women.
Three-quarters of the annual ad budget for Weight Watchers is spent in the first two weeks of the new year.
Women are looking for cues to kick them into the slim-down-for-spring thing.
That ad is such a cue.
It enables women to imagine themselves not as sex objects, but as sexy subjects: lean, lithe, smokin'.
It's not about the male eye scoping out Maggie Vesey. The ad isn't trying to sell stuff to guys.
And?
Violence is good, when used by good people. Witness WWII.Violence is good. Asia kicked the US Army's ass so bad the US abandoned 10,000 soldiers in the jungles.

Ohhhhhhh! They're trying to sell female spikes to females. I get it now. And here I was thinking they were trying to get ME to buy pink girl's spikes.

Anyway, I think she looks great. Stylish, powerful, beautiful without any "selling the female form to the male consumer" crap.
Great ad. Great runner.
This raises the question: when are we going to see some nude Galen Rupp/Alan Webb ads? Can't wait.
