I drink diet cause i drink a a lot of soda. its not soda that will slow you down, just being too fat and i cant notice the difference anyways. Everything it seems is linked to brain tumors these days.
I hsve a diet coke or mountain dew before every run and it helps settle my stomach. I run 6 to 620 pace too, i aint no hobby jogger.
And these stupid people who talk about not drinking sugary shit, you are dumb, you are so dumb. ever heard of glycogen synthesis. It is not sugar that is bad, just too much. But any runner hitting 70 plus miles a week needs to consume a lot of every type of nutrient anyways.
