What about getting disqualified at Missoula and almost winning a wine basket and gifts had he not been caught? What an idiot

Another EPIC FAIL!! Reread the thread- ages ago Clarkson Kent confirmed that he did run Wyoming. Just because he was the only entrant that showed does not mean it didn't happen. Looks like that bogus blog is riddled with inaccuraces.

The problem with this Kip is that there were also bogus results with a certain Roberto Vasquez in second place behind you. Odd that any trace of this "race" organisation has vanished. This isn't the only fictitious race in your running history though, there's Sandy Springs and Pine Hills to name two - now don't tell me - the other runners didn't show up? A man could get a complex.
http://kiplitton.blogspot.com/2011/01/pine-hills-5k-120410-fictitious-event.htmlLet's move to the Deleware Marathon, now if it was me referred to here
http://races2run.blogspot.com/2010/08/world-record-runkip-litton.htmlI'd be losing no time in contesting this version of events with the race director, but then I've never been DQd once in over 500 races.
There is an old saying "Never have a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent" that I usually obey, but let's watch you dig a deeper hole.
Its almost 2012. Kip last ran in 2010. Its almost incomprehensible that people have so little going on in their lives that they are still babbling about this.
I doubt very much that anyone that has posted here has actually talked to Dr. Litton. If you had, this misinformation would have been cleared up in short order a long time ago. Unfortunately there have been insightful posts deleted.
I am friends with one of the writers that have communicated with him. When my friend caught wind of this story, he originally intended to write a scathing piece on it. After interviewing Dr. Litton and others he realized how much erroneous gossip had been spread around. He had no other choice than to scrap the sensational article. After almost 2 years of accusations flying why else would none of the reporters have written a story? If anything, now his piece would be about how internet forums can help perpetuate unfounded allegations.
Its time to concede your possibly good intentions took a wrong turn.
No, No, No
This is fraud. And a most awesome fraud it is.
If you look at the Athlinks results for the West Wyoming Marathon, it is hilarious.

After Kip's supposed win, the 2nd place guy (who has a comment insinuating that the winner - Kip Litton- cheated) hasn't run any other races in his life, the same for the guy in 3rd place. The guy who got 4th ran two other races and was dead last in each of them.

The SOLKR blog and someone on this thread had confirmed Kip was on the waiting list for Zoom Yah Yah - any word on if he ever moved up the list far enough to actually run it!?
Kip Litton is at position #20 on the "wait list" for entries into the 30 or so runner field that will run Zoom Zoom Yah on January 8, 2012 at St Olaf College. It is very unlikely that he will somehow move through the crowd to get an entry for the race.
The race director is "aware" of the issues surrounding Litton.

Maybe you're kip. Otherwise go to another thread
That was a great article! Very well written and thought provoking.

He is not number 20 on the wait list- on one of the posts that was deleted it had an update that he had moved up to #4, and that if he gets in he is having it videotaped.
Is Kip running a lot now? What does Dan Baxley have to say?

on 10/31, Bill Khan, writer for the Flint, MI journal, decided to add a note to the Kip Litton article he did before Kip's performances came into question

Quote: "• Editor's note: Since this article was published, Kip Litton's performance in this and other marathons has come under scrutiny. These photos have been used as evidence that Litton didn't run the entire course."

I have seen the list as it was in Octber, Litton was #20 on the wait list. Have requested updated list from race director.
