Here's another unusual finding at Jacksonville 2006. The splits are possibly believable. I have run this one twice. Only mats at halfway and sometimes at 20 miles. Easy to cut if you wanted to. Not really marshalled. You run most of it very spread out if you are reasonably fast. The unusual finding again is the gap between gun and chip time. The marathon there is small and there is no reason for a competitor wait in the back. Two minutes even seems excessive for the last runner to wait. Here's the age group standings. His first half must really have been 1:24 which would have been probably around a pr at that time if he was waiting 2 min to start:
