Hey Letsrun,
For those of you interested, I've started a running blog. I'm a senior in high school and am currently training for the spring track season. Check it out at

You're pretty.
did you reasonably buildup to 70? would explain the possible hairline fracture...
Yeah, I didn't really give adequate background info considering the last few weeks. But, I have built up well and this summer I had about 7 week above 70, peaking at 78, with no injuries. So this isn't unchartered territory.
Right now I'm being optimistic, and hoping it isn't anything serious. I've been able to hop on the leg, and today did some easy running on the grass with no pain.
We'll see how it goes, I'm just trying to be cautious. Thanks for the concern though.
Well your pretty slow, so you might want to start at runners world first until you get elite. Thanks.

That's what I think makes this blog different, the fact that I'm not elite. The goal is to get faster. If you don't like the blog, don't read it, I don't expect you to.
You are from ILL, which means you are all cheaters and are afraid to run the extra .1...add 35-40 seconds on to your 3 mile time and you are still slower than Lukas
I'm from California, and we do 3 miles too (at least in my league.)
I figured I'd bump this thread since it's been awhile. Here's the latest post: http://chasingslater.blogspot.com/
Which college are you choosing, Slater?
Nice blog, could be interesting to see your progress. I kind of think your long runs are a little fast. Given your pbs and mileage, there`s no reason to be running 6:30 miles on easy (if high mileage) days.

I'll be heading to Adams State this fall.
Good luck to you, nice choice.
