Coe didn't even break 14, give me a break. That is pathetic and shows horrible endurance.
Yeah, the only person ever to win the Olympic 1500/mile gold twice did so because he didn't how to train.
Now go back and talk about the numbers in you log book...and Coe can talk about his gold medals and world records.

Congratulations coach on totally missing the point. Coe obviously knew how to train for the 800/1500. However, that same training didn't do much for him at greater distances, nor was it really meant to. It makes perfect sense that 5k/10k runners should run more than 800/1500 guys.
Bump for a third year.
AM: 6 with a short hill workout, PM: 3 easy. Bonus, ran in 3 different states today (CT, NY, MA).
That is kinda gay that you bumped this, to post this.
geb does it everyday, for years, so one day where you run more than geb is special, syke

Lagat, Spivey, Padilla, Coe, Webb and many other greats have often run no more than 60 miles per week during much of their best days. And each and every one of them could destroy and humiliate you ass-clowns at 5k. And yes, 5k is an absolutely primarily an ENDURANCE/AEROBIC event.
But keep padding your logs clowns, since clearly you will never achieve anything in a RACE worth talking about.
Someone is insecure about not running enough...
It's time for this thread once again you clowns
Seb trained three times on Xmas day
I did, not very hard for a Jew.
Nope, no double, but had a nice 10 miler before the kids woke up to open presents. Merry Christmas!

Did you wake up at 3 am?
7.2 at 7am, 4.5 at 3pm with 4 strides. Gotta take advantage when it's 60 degrees F in December in New England.
Didn't notice this thread was so damn old
