Joe Falcon finished 25th as a freshman and that was considered a great performance.
Matt Guisto finished 35th as a freshman and that was considered very good as well.
Ritz was 4th but that was again as a freshman in college and he had run 13:44 in high school.
The runners who place top 10 at NCAA cross are all sub 13:50 and 29:00 runners. Maybe that's where he is at but again what has he done to prove it?
Goucher was 2nd as a true freshman and didn't have Lukas' career, even less so Kennedy who was 1st as a true freshman.
Plus he's clearly more of a talent than Puskedra and he placed fifth as a freshman
