What's the best thing to do if racing two events in one track meet? How do you recover from 1st so you're rdy for 2nd? Do you have like a PowerBar and Gatorade or something in between if you have 1-3 hours before the next event?

just wondering if you could share what's worked and what hasn't worked for you. Thanks. im doubling events for the first time next week.
bumps?
Rule #0 Don't be a pussy. Jog a bit, stretch if its your thing but otherwise your training should be more than enough to run back to back events in whatever rest you get.

In 2000 I was at this big meet in Sydney and I had five events, the 100, 200, LJ, 4x100 and 4x400!
It was tough, but HGH really helped me recover between events.
Seriously, which 2 events?
My basic advice, take sugars and fluids, relax but stay active (don't let yourself tighten up).
Yeah, like sitting is ok if it's on the ground- legs straight. We also use the steeple water jump- put your legs in right after the first race or ice your legs if it's covered.
Warmup and race the first race as if it is your only one. Jog a little bit afterwards. Jog some again before the second and do some striders, no need for another full out warmup. Race again. Cooldown.
Definitely some water in between, food if there is 3+ hours in between would be fine, assuming your stomach is not easily upset.
The most important thing is not trying to "save anything" in the first race. Just hit it hard. Unless you're doing some outrageous double, the total volume is probably a lot less than your hard workouts, with a lot more rest. If you're in good shape and have a good base, it's definitely possible to hit 2 times that you would be happy with had you just done one race or the other.
Put your legs up and let the lactic acid drain out!
Just being in good shape is the number one thing.
As far as in between races, I always liked to do sort of a token cooldown after the first race and then jog/walk around until doing a sort of token warmup (1/2 mile - mile, maybe some striders) for the second race, if they were close together. If they aren't close together I would just rest in between. Always worked for me.
how long in between, is one more 'important' than the other, what are events (already been mentioned), is the second event one in which you can use part of the race as a 'warm-up', like a 3k or more, are both 'crucial' - if not crucial don't sweat it, all other recommends apply. Sounds maybe like some mental prep is called for. Don't worry about 2nd race. Look at it like a bonus opportunity
3k and then mile
If HS we usually ran the 3200 first event of the day and 1600 next to last (before the 4x4). Often there were 6 hours between races. With this much time we did a full cooldown after the 32 and another full warmup for the 16. Also had plenty of time to have a turkey sandwich for lunch and sit around in the shade.
