Reading about these Cyber Attacks and the group "Anonymous' who call themselves the "everyday internet user" gets me thinking... What kind of person is really passionate enough to say:
"Man, I'm so mad about the US Govt's stance on WikiLeaks, I am going to download this software to overload an internet website. That'll show everyone how hardcore I am about freedom of information!"
Are these people just bored college kids or something who feel like "The Man" is getting them down? The internet group Annoymous likes to pretend that they are the "common man", but that's Bullshit. The "common man" doesn't have .001% of the things that are posted about in WikiLeaks and of that .001% about another .05% would really give enough of a shit to want to overload a website in protest.
... So am I wrong in assuming that "Anonymous" is just a group of like 150 people who make it seem like they are everyone?
