Why so slow in the jog? You should at least be getting 500 meters, probably 550-600. The second workout has WAY too much rest, if you are gearing up for a marathon honestly both of these workouts are terrible.
That said, to answer your question, the Yasso 800s are better.

What do you recommend instead? I am aiming for a 2:42 marathon.

Maybe try something like 2 sets of 4 x 1,000 meters at 5 to 10 seconds per mile faster than LT pace with 45 seconds jogging rest (~200m) and two minutes rest between sets.
