Former high school xc and track runner, now I usually run 3-4 times a week. A few weeks ago I ran a 19:30 5K (I know, I know...) For the past few days, I have felt like my heart is racing all day. I've taken my pulse and it has been normal (about 56-58 beats per minute), but inside my chest it feels like I just finished sprinting.
Has anybody had this happen before? Any idea what it could be? I don't smoke/dip/drink coffee or energy drinks. I probably have 2-3 drinks per week and maybe 4 cans of soda during the average week.
25 year old male, 5'8" 170 lbs.
