Oddly, and perhaps for the first time ever, President Obama has united both ardent leftists and ardent conservatives. By reducing taxes at a time that government's deficit spending, (i.e. borrowing money to make payments on money it already borrowed, and then borrowing more to spend new money) without cutting current spending and the current deficit (conservatives' view) or using tax money from the rich to pay for new programs not yet enacted (leftists' view), Obama has brought the left and the right together in opposition to his approach.
I know the conventional wisdom is that Obama will be elected again. Has that changed? The left is really, really angry, as always, but now at Obama.
