Indoor season has started and I am having sharp shooting pains in the center of my heel. It hurts so bad I can barely walk. I went to the trainer and he told me it is probably plantar fascism. He said taping my foot would help. One girl on my team told me barefoot running would be good but it's way to cold for that. Another girl told me there is no real cure for plantar fascism but the only way to support it is with expensive orthotics and shoes. I guess I need to go to the running store and get analyzed and fitted for proper shoes.
Has anyone else had PF and what did you do to treat it?
