Any running groups around? I live in Kingsville in northern Baltimore county. I'm getting lonely training by myself.

You should check out a map sometime...as Kingsville isn't "northern" Baltimore County.
In any case, its tough running in Baltimore. Not too many training groups, and those that exist aren't very good. There's just too much Lax influence in this state for running to be popular.
(Side note: I love living in Baltimore, just that the running scene sucks.)
Maybe you can hook up with some of the folks at the APG? - I'm sure they have to PT and stuff.
Falls Road...but that might be far from you.
Well, Kingsville IS northern Baltimore county. Its about 4 miles south of Harford county on US1/Belair Rd.
I know about BRRC and Falls Road. I'm just hoping that maybe there are some people in the kingsville/perry hall/whitemarsh area on these boards that maybe have a group going on.
I'm doing 60-70 mpw, 14 mi long runs, a tempo each week. Basic stuff. Hit me up if you live close.
I also agree that the lax influence is ridiculous! I went to a catholic prep high school and like everyone in the school wished they were on varsity lacrosse.
And yea the running is like years behind. Few good high school coaches. Not many good local races.
What kind of fitness are you in? What's current goal you're shooting for?
I'm in that area but not sure if we are the same pace.
Well long story short, got back into running a year ago after running in high school and running some decent times in cross country (running ended senior year with injuries. I'm 22 now and I had some very inconsistent training at first but i'm putting in a base that is right now 60-70 mpw. Paces are right around 7:00 for my 7-8 milers, sometimes slower sometimes faster. Long runs go for like 14 miles at a 7:35 pace. I want to get some AT/Tempo/progression runs into my schedule soon, but I have just made the jump up to 70 so I am working on just making the extra miles a little more comfy.
I was in 18min 5k shape last summer in August. Since then no races. But judging by how I feel I'd say I am in high 16 minute shape.

I know exactly where it is, which is why I told you to look at a map.
http://www.maryland.com/counties/images/baltimore-county-map.gifPlaces like Freeland, Bentley Springs, or Parkton or White Hall are Northern Balto. County.
Perry Hall, Kingsville, etc. are Eastern Baltimore County. Wanna call it NE...maybe you'd get that. But you're about 5 miles from the Beltway, compared to places like Bentley Springs which are 20+ miles from the Beltway.
talk to Baltimore's Son, he hook you up
Baltimore's son comes in at 02:42
tight song
YES SIR!!! ma wigga!
Aside from Baltimore Road Runners (predominantly older folks), I think Harford county probably has a bigger running scene.
If you're looking for areas to run, there is a new site with a small guide mapping out the Loch Raven trails.

I think there is an Ikea in the White Marsh area...maybe they have a running group.
