It would help to know your situation. At different times as an undergrad, I included:
-Overall GPA, major GPA if it's higher or requested by the institution.
-A list of the relevant classes that I had taken
-Previous work experience
-Programming languages that I knew
-Relevant software that I knew how to use
-High School awards, honors, whatever (AP Scholar, National Merit Scholarship, etc)
-College honors and awards
-Extracurricular stuff (Varsity Track and XC, NCAA Div 1) on the bottom to give it a bit of personality.
Basically, I was applying to research programs, and I wanted them to think I was bright and hard working. And that also means it shouldn't be unprofessional.
If you're in college, you should be able to find sample resumes for the type of program you're applying to.
