As a former grad student/TA, I'd say talk to the professor.

As a former TA I say study harder and quit complaining. If you don't think the TA is choosing the correct answers then you are naive.

I wouldn't claim the TA is an airhead. It is a thankless job. Your TA is probably in charge of at least 3-4 classes.

it is unlikely that you deserve any better, but all you have to do is to take some disputed questions to your professor, if s/he agrees to speak to any actual students, and check them out.

You mean to tell me you can't go over the test and review the answers after words?

That makes no sense, I've seen plenty of professors willing to change the score of a test because the answer to a question was incorrect.

You need to get out of the Junior College immediately.

The other TA (who is in charge of other sections of the class) looked over her last test and key once and found 8 (8!!!) errors on a test with 50 questions. We aren't given our tests back and have to go in to office hours to see them, and they only give us one week to do it. It turns out that I have time conflicts with all office hours, and I just thought I must have underperformed the first two tests, but now I think they were BS. I studied my ass off and could have written the chapters the third test was on and still only got an 85.5%. I don't think I can go in and ask to look at tests I took months ago now, so I'm just frustrated with the whole thing.

Don't you get graded on a scale? Assuming for a minute that TA did make a number of mistakes on the test key, you and many others would have been mis-marked. Your 85% score shows how well you performed relative to the class average.

Stop grade mongering! Your whining is irritating.
