I saw a old thread up here from last year about weightlifter v/s runners where some bodybuilder/weightlifter was dissin runner and the thread turned into a battle about which was better.
BOTH a happy medium.
Being muscle bound benching 400 mean nothing if your gassed walking up stairs. Or cant keep your hands up for 30 seconds.
Also being able to run a marathon and cant bench your own body weight is pretty much the same imo. WHo wants to look like richard simmons?
I bench 330 and can run a sub 7 minute mile and run a 10 k
BOTH are required to be in the best shape.
See what it all amounts to is few people have the dedication to do both so they are gonna argue for the exercise they do.
The real dedicated ones who do some of both are gonna be in the best shape overall fitness wise imo..
The hybrid rules!!
