In high school and a couple years after I ran 30-40 mpw... not much, but i liked running so did it. I'm 22 now, and have really been trying to get better. After about 2 years of no consistent training, i've slowly built up over the last 6 months or so and my last 4 weeks i've averaged 52 mpw. I plan to keep it here for another month or so then slowly build up to consistent 60-65 mile weeks. anyway.... i'm no huge talent, but have prs of 2:06 (800), 4:46(1600), 10:23(3200), and 17:11(5000) all set in high school, while doing 30-40 mpw. After a few months of 50-60 mpw with strides 3-4 times a week, a long run of 10-12, and a tempo each week what can I expect? this is just a base period, mind you, which i plan to stick with until March.... thanks for anything....
