I am a sophmore division 2 runner who ran a 2:13 last year. My first race is the last weekend of Feb and I was wondering what kind of mileae/pace I should be doing over the next 2 months. I have asked my coach but he basically just says run "fast" but really, that could be any pace from 6:30-7:30 depending on how I feel. I want more structure. Would 50 miles a week be good? What pace would be best?
