I think he should do whatever he wants, but if he did it could mean some pretty big things as he will probably end up being the most prolific high school runner of all time. Which says a lot given running isn't even his main focus...

in a skype interview after the footlocker regional (might have been the nike regional) he said that if he had to choose he really likes running more. So hopefully!
I'd like to see what he can do as a runner. In one of the NXN videos he says he only runs 30 to 40 miles a week, except for XC time when he is around 50.
Kinda wish he would do an outdoor 5k this spring so he can go sub 14.

Maybe if he beats the reigning olympic champion and sets an american record as a senior along with qualifying for the 2011 world championships he will be almost as good as jim ryun was in 1965

I think he will be pushed into it as it seems hes a better at just running then being a triathelete, not that hes not amazing at that. Especially this year after illinois state track meet when he sets a couple illinois records(unless i beat him of course).
And if he runs in college it hard to see him balancing a competition season for both
