Is it that i do not have speed.As all my splits where the same as a cross country 8k.This is my 1st 5 k in a year.I have not ran any road races in close to a year.I have had a great fall ran 50 sec faster than last year. 22 days ago i had my best race.45 sec faster than last year.Today i ran a road 5k it was cold a strong wind 25mps.All my splits were the same as a cc race.I felt tight.I felt i was in 16:20-16 40 shape.So with a big cross country meet 10k next week can i bounce back and run 34 somthing in 6 days?
