Or, here's a thought: why don't we support ALL the outstanding high school runners that want to compete for the great old USA, instead of picking on an orphan from Kenya who's age we simply can't verify and who's quality of life is hundreds of time better here? (Side note: I agree with the poster that said he looks about 16)
What does it matter anyway? Age means nearly nothing at all when you get to the NCAA, and means even less on the international stage. Again: why can't we just be pleased that spectacular athletes want to compete for us?
If you're so convinced Cheserek is a age cheater, YOU go to St. Benedictine's or the NJSIAA or whoever it is that you feel can help those who have "suffered" from this young man's competing and have them rectify it. For now, and I don't think I'm alone, I will continue to cheer for young Mr. Cheserek, because it seems to me that he has nothing but great things ahead of him.
