Be honest: If the top 10 in the next NXN or Footlocker were all Ethiopian/Kenyans, would you care about them?
I am guessing at least 3/4 of you would be rooting for the 11th guy - or the first natural-born American.

There's like a 95% infiltration of white kids in high school running. Unfortunately, they all suck.
Don't forget Futsum (Eritrea) who was 2nd at FL Midwest and Andrew Gardner (Ethiopia) who was second at FL West. The first is a junior and the 2nd a sophomore. Great! Can't wait for them to rule the roost! Help make American kids start working harder.

If they lived in the US before high school and go to a US high school, I really don't care if they were born somewhere else.
Foreign exchange students and foreign students that come to US boarding schools catering to foreigners are somewhat different for the purposes of a US high school championship.

For clarification: I'm not referring to Cheserek here. I am more thinking of situations that happen in sports like basketball, where foreign players often come and spend a year at a US prep school before playing in college.

I have no problem with kids coming to the US for a better life but I also understand the angst of some posters. intents and purposes, not "intensive purposes" That does not even make sense.
I don't hate the African implants and hope they do well. I also relate to the white and especially native kids much more. We know the Africans are generally better runners. It does not interest us to see them dwarf our dreams.
Meb is cool, but it's Lomong who we love.
