Saugus definitely underperformed, they were 2nd in 2008 after a better performance this year at the state meet. But Fayetteville-Manlius this year... wow, greatest team of all time.

cheserek or Luke Lutz and Moussa have to be conservative and not blow up as their teams are in the race.

Yes, there is an element of artificiality, but this meet does need to be accessible to spectators. Certainly it is more authentic than the World XC championship course held at the Meadowlands in the 80's (when Lopes won).
Are the split team scores on Runnerspace raw scores including unattached individuals?
Saugus got beat by two better teams today. All the talk about how their 1-5 was better then FM's and trying to compare woodward park to Bowdoin Park was just ridiculous. Im sick of hearing how they underperform every year at FM. Truth is if they did run their best like you said they still would not have won. Dp you agree?
Yes even if they ran their best they would not have won I think, but they would have at least been second. Fayetteville-Manlius is probably the greatest HS team of all time...

Geydon (?) cut in front of Lukas V.
did cheserek have to borrow someones shorts or something?? he keeps fumbling with them
