One thing I've never heard is how much Rupp makes. I've heard that Wheating is north of 500k and we all know Webb was making 250k, so I am going to guesstimate that Rupp is in the 400k ballpark.
Solinksy probably makes 105 + bonuses.

no one should make this much money and if they do we really need to return to much higher federal income tax rates like we used to have.
moreover, it is disgusting that everyone in college athletics makes money, coaches, trainers, announcers (football and basketball here), and everyone else involved in university athletics gets a salary except the athletes. if amateurism is such a great idea, then why don't the coaches, administrators and everyone else involved be amateur? let's really embrace amateurism and let Vin take classes for free and set him up in a dorm room and give him a meal card? or better yet, let's let all the Athletic Director's do so as well. The last comment is really for the university football and basketball programs.
the NCAA is a terrible farce.
Is that all he makes even with that big nose ? COL is cheap in Meth Town USA huh ? Someday he'll make it to the big show, So Cal, where International T&F Medals are made.
So the best in our country don't even make the league minimum for NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB...how about soccer?
And what about coaching pay? How much does football make at Oregon, Basketball, Baseball...
No one in our sport is in it for the money...
I agree that if everyone is making millions in "amateur" sports then so should the athletes (slaves).
Otherwise, I'm happy Vin is making so much. Look at NCAA football salaries and you'll see why he isn't making "that much."
Isnt Vin Lanana God? I heard he doesnt accept any of the salary money because at the end of the day he ascends into heaven and rules the world.
Vin had the potential for the riches. He needs to start a club in the So Cal / West LA Area. That's where the big time coaches are.

is this a serious post?
Vin & Gaylen MUST start a clothing line for Metrosexual REAL Men. Houston would welcome the first retail store.
How much did all these So Cal coaches make last year? From what I've seen, they aren't making nearly as much as Lananna and they are stuck in that sludge pot. The more of is ass-lickers like you. BTW did you notice today's T&F News release? Vin has the #1 recruit classes for both the men and the women. Looks like another pay raise is in store for him...on top of the extra cash he is now making from coaching pro Andy Wheating on the side.
Phil pays small town wages for best of kiddie meet wins, cute but that wage don't won't hefty trust funds for Vin's youngins. Vin is in his 50ties and isn't getting any younger. If he wants the big bucks he has to start his club in L.A./S.D. now and coach for Olympic wins and WC medals. He should start planning to take his kids and wife to L.A./S.D., the UNDISPUTED Track and Field Capitol of the World.
Meanwhile Lananna is making $600K+ in Eugene, and you are sitting in a So Cal junior high classroom trying to be a buddy to a bunch of 15 year olds who can't stand your ass and know that you barely make enough to pay the rent.
The simple things in life are what make life important. Small change is enough for most people. With big money comes what ? I mean how many Cadillac Escalades can Vin drive at once ?
Has anyone checked Lananna's government birth certificate ? Does he have an authentic INS Green Card or valid US Passport ? He could be another greasy WOP illegal. Better to check. You never know about those in inferiors grease balls.

This part is dead on. The median household income in the US is $52k (http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/states/00000.html). I think Lananna is doing just fine at about 8 times that. Hell, his assistants are well above the median - and that's just with one income.
When Nixon was president, the top tax rate was 70% (http://www.truthandpolitics.org/top-rates.php) Republicans just demanded not to move the top rate back to 39% from 36%. Even then, most of the richest's income is taxed at a 15% rate (long-term capital gains).
When will we all wake up - the rich are screwing us left and right. They're prancing along on a beautiful track at a sub-5 pace, wondering why the rest of us are slogging through foot-deep mud so slowly.
Now that's funny!!!
Actually, the top tax rate with Nixon was 77%. The top income tax rate of 70% had an added surtax of 7% for certain types of income. But that is apples to oranges, isn't it. In those days, we had a war debt to pay for. Oh wait.....well, in those days people (even wealthy people) gave a damn about the future of the country. Today,it's about the wealthy squeezing the last bit of life out of the country and the middle class not having a clue.
