An employee may have more than one job, but may not be receiving pay from all jobs.
That's what it says under "Notes", which is at the top of each page..so he may not be making this large sum of money per year, as the previous posters are saying.
So is it $150K for the track job and $250K for the assistant AD job? Sounds like figures in the right ballpark.
Vin makes between $400K and $600K depending on bonus issues.
Is Lananna worth $600K a year? Read his bio, and you'll understand why he makes what he makes:

What I find interesting is that Andy Powell makes $82,500 a year as "asst track and field coach" yawwzahhs. I think most head D1 XC/TF coaches make maybe half that. Must be nice.
Agreed. $82k for a coach who only has to coach male distance runners is a crazy-high amount! That is ore than vast majority of BCS-school head coaches.
Vin also takes home a large stipend from Nike plus bonus for championships etc.
These dollars are not in the university formula.

While I agree that the figure is very high for a single-gender assistant, I don't believe it's higher than what most BCS head coaches get, unless you mean head XC but not head track.

600k as a track coach? cheap?!

Because drugging people to death, stealing their lives away and their life's assets is really, really important.
It must have been hard for Vin to swallow that Rupp was making more than him when he was running for the Ducks. Is AJ's salary listed in those docs?
I'm personally happy when I see track coaches getting paid a lot. Isn't that what we want, more $$ in the sport?
yes
For the jealous bastard making up crap about AJ: AJ must not be getting very much, especially if you were to watch him getting around campus on his beat up bike.
Think of how much Vin would make if he coached someone to a major marathon victory, IAAF WC medal, or Summer Olympics medal ? Then Vin could be like Larsen, Smith, Kersee, Telez.
That's o.k. for a low cost of living town like Eugene. Vin's next move is to start his own club in the Los Angeles area, the undisputed Track and Field Capitol of the World. With Vin's accomplishments he could potentially do well at the international level.
Problem is all those LA coaches rely on PED's for their athletes. I don't think Vin has gotten into that seamy side of the sport. Just think about how many of the Southern Cal athletes who got caught (and those who we all know were using, but didn't get caught).
I think Vin will do quite well with International Athletes, beginning with Andrew Wheating, without having to move to a cesspool like Los Angeles. I did have to laugh at your "undiputed Track and Field Capitol of the World" comment. What are you on?

Exactly, let's not pretend it is a cutting edge cancer research team for a big pharma corp or something really important. For God's sake, it's a sport. I love it too, but let's not get carried away. If you earn even 1 dollar at something you love, count yourself lucky. If you earn enough to make a living, you are blessed.
If you only knew how much the cancer researchers actually make at big pharma. Most of them are far, far below Vin. After 20 years they might make 200K. Most R&D managers are far below Vin as well. In some small companies they make really big money if they got enough options and the stock got high enough.
